The following stones are Mexican Canterra Opals.
The Opals are cut within the rock Matrix that surrounds them.
Each has fire (though it
may not be evident from the picture).
The stones as you see them
are much bigger than their real size.
These are tremendously beautiful and
relatively expensive stones.
Price ranges depend on the weight of the stone, the amount of fire, and the uniqueness of the Matrix pattern.
These stones are very
similar to the popular American Boulder Opal.
